‘Modern in design and with most of the facilities found in the more palatial pools’

In 1934 the Ware Swimming Bath was opened, offering the residents of Ware the chance to enjoy outdoor swimming in a safe and pleasant environment. Ware Swimming Club was founded in the same year.

Ninety years on, the pool, now called the Ware Priory Lido, has been through change and refurbishment but is still a popular destination for swimmers and an important part of the town’s leisure facilities.
